We are proud to be a founding member of the International Play Equipment Manufacturers Association (IPEMA) and to serve on several of their committees. In the interest of public safety, IPEMA provides a third party certification service whereby a designated independent laboratory validates a participant’s certification of conformance to the ASTM standard F1487-11, Standard Consumer Safety Performance Specification for Playground Equipment for Public Use, the CAN/CSA Z614, Children’s Playscapes and Equipment, or both.
